Interhyp grows its brokered mortgage volumen by 20 percent to 1.340 billion Euros
(Munich, 12 May 2010) Interhyp AG, Germanys largest residential mortgage broker, in the first quarter of 2010 brokered 8,958 residential mortgages (Q1 2009: 8,015) and thus grew the mortgage volume by 20 percent to 1.340 billion Euros (Q1 2009: EUR 1.116 billion). Net revenues came to 13.6 million Euros (Q1 2009: EUR 13.3 million). Earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) were at 0.2 million Euros (Q1 2009: EUR 0.2 million), net income was at 0.1 million Euros (Q1 2009: EUR 0.3 million).
"The fact that we could grow the number of closed mortgages as well as the mortgage volume in the traditionally saisonally low first quarter shows the attractiveness of our service package with its high quality advice and its wide product choice", comments Robert Haselsteiner, founder and Co-CEO of Interhyp AG, and adds: "Also, these figures reflect our thorough expansion of the provider basis on our platform: With meanwhile more than 250 banks on our platform we offer our costumers a vast choice and a maximum of flexibility in residential mortgages."
