German new business for the full year 2007 at EUR 181.8 bn

At EUR 13.1 bn, December new business volume came out 4% lower than the previous month and therefore remains at the low levels around EUR 13 bn that we have seen since August. For the full year 2007, the German new business volume is EUR 181.8 bn compared to EUR 188.2 bn in the previous year.

The publication of January volumes by Deutsche Bundesbank is due on 4 March 2008.
