Preliminary results 2010: Interhyp grew brokered mortgage volume by 33 percent to 6.9 billion Euros

(Munich, 16th February 2011) Interhyp AG, Germany’s largest residential mortgage broker, 2010 showed significant growth in all key figures: The brokered mortgage volume rose by 33 percent to a new record high of 6.9 billion Euros (2009: EUR 5.2 billion). This corresponds to 43,766 closed mortgages (2009: 36,040). Net revenues climbed by 35 percent from 56.5 million Euros in 2009 to 76.2 million Euros. Earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) were almost fourfold over 2009 at 8.4 million Euros (2009: EUR 2.3 million). Net income grew to 4.8 million Euros (2009: EUR 1.8 million).
